一觉醒来，天还是黑的，没有表，也不知几点，大概是凌晨5点，悄悄的穿衣，悄悄的穿鞋，悄悄的开门，生怕惊醒了8个师兄弟们。沿着志丹县二道街，踩着红色的沙土飒飒作响，向河边走去，街上没有一个人，好像在梦游一样。穿过文化馆的北墙，穿过河边的马路，就到了周河，对面的山顶闪着三颗垂直的星星，我知道那是有名的三星。我对着寒冷的空气发出狼一样的嚎叫，这就是吊嗓子。我倒嘇了，就是声音变得又粗又低，任凭我鬼哭狼嚎也不可能好了，我知道，我是瞎子点灯白费蜡，天事已尽，人事了心。

天麻麻亮，就是回剧团的时候了，进门第一件事，就是把一个鸡蛋打在碗里，用筷子搅匀，冲到食堂，用滚烫的水冲一碗，喝光它，这是我一天唯一的补品。接着正式的练功开始，压腿，要把头碰倒脚，踢腿，要踢到鼻子，走身架，要有亮相，犀牛望月，雾里云手，平臂拉架，转身卧鱼。倒立拿顶，下腰折腰，侧翻虎条，扎毽子，翻小翻，不到位者马鞭伺候。
终于到了9点吃早饭的时候。小米蒸的干饭，酸菜酱油熬的土豆泥，天天如此，永不变味。二两米饭，一勺土豆酸菜，味道不好，实在养人！10点，神仙老师出场了，开始排戏了，乐队配合着，板鼓，板胡，二胡，扬琴，三玄，把世上的好人坏人演绎的活灵活现！我一直不明白，老师们不练功，各个武艺高强，能文能武，神仙一个。
